Capacity building on United Nations mechanisms for Kasbah Tal’fin and Amnesty working group

Kasbah Tal’fin, in partnership with Amnesty International organized a full-day hybrid workshop for our newly formed working group. The group consisted of 26 members.

The focus of the workshop was on UN Mechanisms of CEDAW (Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women) and the UPR (Universal Periodic Review).

The main goal of this capacity building was to develop an effective advocacy plan that utilizes the CEDAW implementation matrix for the next two years in collaboration with Amnesty International.
